BOMB QUEEN vs. BLACKLIGHT ONE-SHOT (Image)

Jimmie Robinson and I collaborated on this fun little PG-13 romp that pits the morally reprehensible Bomb Queen against Shadowline's resident good girl Blacklight in the original sin city, Las Vegas! No reinvention of the wheel here. Just plain old fun comics. Due out August '06 with art by BQ creator Jimmie Robinson.

SHADOWHAWK (Image)

Jim Valentino's signature creation.

I wrote Issues 5-9, beginning Sept. '05, and had a soft hand in the remainder of the RISE storyline that redefined the character in Issues 10-12.

The art in Issues 5 & 6 was by Carlos Rodriguez, John Larter and J.L. Rio. Issues 7 & 8 were digitally painted by Ted Wing III. Issue 9, Jim Valentino came back to his creation, taking over art duties here, and scripting with Issue 10.

Here are the covers for my first few issues.

BLACKLIGHT (Image)

A newer Jim Valentino creation that he let me run a bit with. Small town girl with no place to go in life gains super-powers and has to make some tough choices right out of the gate. Got some great reviews, but sales only warranted two of the three-issue mini. I wrote a prose wrap-up in the back of Issue 2, though, which fans appreciated. Art by John Toledo, Marc Deering and Kanila Tripp.

Covers for Issues 1, 2 and the unpublished 3 below.

Issue 1 | Issue 2 | Issue 3
